Our Nursery is for children aged 2-4 and runs term time only.

Tuesday       9.15 - 12.15 

Wednesday 9.15 - 2.45

Thursday     9.15 - 2.45

Friday          9.15 - 2.45

Our qualified staff work hard to provide children with a safe, exciting and stimulating environment where they can learn through play. The Early Years Foundation Stage Guidelines are at the heart of everything we do, so parents and carers can be certain of an excellent start to their child's educational journey. It is important to us that children enjoy their time at Mere Green 0-5, so we provide a wealth of activities, taking the children's own interests as a starting point, as well as including celebrations and other special events throughout the year.

 

Children can choose from a variety of activities on offer each day, both indoors and outdoors. They are encouraged to move around the room to come to each activity, but the choice is down to them.

 

Activities include:

Role Play (home corner and puppet theatre), Table Top Activities (painting, crafts, playdough, puzzles, games), Floor Activities (farm, dolls house, Brio), Book Corner, Physical Activities (bikes, slide, obstacle course), Circle Sessions (each child can participate to a level they feel comfortable with), Group Story & Songs.
